As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for…
- Managing all aspects of mechanical design, packaging equipment and in-house converting machinery (conceptualization, design, and documentation)
- Design new machinery, improve and update existing machines, design tooling, design automation and control systems, and develop and improve safety systems
- Both machine design and directing projects through all phases including assembly, debugging, training, and installation
The Mechanical Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Proficiency with CAD and solid modeling software (Creo preferred)
- Experience with PLC software and components is helpful
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
