Northeast Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible growing and owning a portfolio of client accounts. They will be responsible for a $100M+ book of business within their region, traveling up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Owns regional revenue, margin, and market share performance across a multi-location sales organization.
  • Drives growth by leading and developing Sales Managers and sales teams to exceed business objectives.
  • Cultivates high-level customer partnerships, serving as a trusted advisor in strategic planning, negotiations, and business reviews.
  • Directs regional pricing strategy to maximize profitability while maintaining a strong competitive position.
  • Creates and implements sales initiatives that capitalize on market trends and support long-term company goals.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience and deliver profitable solutions.
  • Uses CRM data, sales analytics, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, improve execution, and accelerate results.
  • Promotes a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the building materials, construction, and/or millwork industries, including market dynamics, customer needs, and distribution channels.
  • Proficient with SAP, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools to support forecasting, reporting, performance analysis, and team collaboration.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze profitability, pricing, and customer performance to drive sound business decisions.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing leaders while building organizational bench strength for future growth.
  • Strategic thinker who adapts quickly to changing market conditions and adjusts plans to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges.
  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to achieve business objectives.
  • Experienced in leading organizational and cultural change, fostering accountability, engagement, and a results-oriented environment.
  • Executive-level communicator with the presence and credibility to represent the business effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resilient and composed in fast-paced environments, maintaining focus and delivering results through periods of change and uncertainty.
