Your Impact
As Procurement Manager - Fresh Produce Sourcing, you'll be at the heart of supplier strategy and category development, driving both tactical execution and strategic initiatives across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key fresh produce categories.
- Build and nurture supplier relationships across a global network.
- Lead supplier communications including claims, fulfilment, and performance.
- Manage tactical procurement activities including stock evaluation and ordering.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to deliver commercial value.
- Champion supplier development and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the European region.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within food, agriculture, or FMCG.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in tactical procurement (ordering, claims, stock control).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate market dynamics.
Desirable:
- Experience in fresh produce sourcing is a strong advantage.
- Multilingual fluency (German, Dutch, French, etc.) is highly beneficial.
