Sales & Proposal Development Coordinator (Energy / Construction Focus)

A growing organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Proposal Development Coordinator to support proposal execution, marketing initiatives, and business development efforts. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or exposure to construction, solar, or broader energy environments, who are comfortable working across teams and managing multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and submission of RFP/RFQ/BID responses, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Research, track, and qualify opportunities across construction and energy procurement platforms
  • Develop, edit, and maintain proposal content, qualifications packages, and marketing materials tailored to each opportunity
  • Support business development efforts through outreach, networking, and client engagement activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather project details, technical inputs, and supporting documentation
  • Manage proposal timelines, track deliverables, and maintain organized repositories of submissions and templates
  • Ensure all materials meet quality, formatting, and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in proposal coordination, marketing, or technical writing environments
  • Exposure to construction, solar, energy, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and document management skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and operate in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
