The Role

As Sales Manager - Contract Logistics (Pharma & Healthcare), you will drive new business acquisition while also managing and growing an existing portfolio of strategic clients.

This role has a strong focus on hunting activities, complemented by responsibility for developing and expanding key customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers within the Pharma & Healthcare sector
  • Develop and execute a structured sales strategy to expand regional market share
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, industry events, and outbound activities
  • Lead complex tender processes and contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal solution design teams to develop tailored logistics solutions

Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current customers
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for strategic clients

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in business development within contract logistics, ideally with exposure to Pharma & Healthcare logistics
  • Strong understanding of GDP compliance, temperature-controlled supply chains, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience selling warehousing, value-added services, and integrated logistics solutions
  • Strong hunter mindset combined with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
