Senior Maintenance Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Maintenance Leader to oversee all maintenance operations in a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a culture of safety across the facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and manage capital projects to maximize asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion Safety Excellence: Ensure all work is performed safely, PPE is used appropriately, and employees receive comprehensive safety training in compliance with OSHA and all regulatory standards. Leave no space unsafe!
- Lead & Develop the Team: Manage and mentor a diverse maintenance team across all shifts, fostering growth through coaching and technical training.
- Optimize Equipment Reliability: Implement root cause analysis (RCA), preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Drive Operational Performance: Oversee maintenance activities, capital projects, and process optimization to support production goals and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with production, quality, safety, and CI teams to resolve equipment and facility issues quickly and effectively.
- Leverage Data for Decisions: Utilize operational metrics, quality data, and MES/SAP systems to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience, preferably in food or high-speed manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead large teams in a 24/7 environment with strong accountability and ownership.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Flexible, hands-on leader willing to support all shifts as needed.
