Senior Planning Manager
The opportunity
This is a senior planning role within a fast-scaling, engineering‑driven manufacturing company operating in a highly complex and dynamic environment.
The business is growing rapidly across Europe and requires a hands‑on, strategic planning leader who can bring structure, clarity, and execution to a constantly evolving production landscape.
This is not a traditional planning role. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, translating change into executable plans.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across demand, supply, and production
- Translate engineering changes and configuration updates into feasible supply chain and production plans
- Align sales demand, engineering roadmaps, and manufacturing capacity
- Develop and improve planning processes, governance, and cadence in a scale‑up environment
- Act as the central interface between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics
- Support ERP‑driven planning improvements and data quality initiatives
- Bring structure, discipline, and decision‑making to a fast‑moving, high‑pressure environment
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, or manufacturing planning
- Background in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or high‑tech hardware
- Strong exposure to engineering‑led environments with frequent design or configuration changes
- Experience with engineering change management, configuration control, or NPI
- Proven track record of building or fixing planning processes, not just running them
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, pace, and constant change
- Engineering, industrial engineering, or technical background is strongly preferred
Systems & tools
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems is required
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a strong plus
- Exposure to Teamcenter or PLM systems is a strong plus
