Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 + 15% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS (Honeywell Experion), and HMI systems
- Support daily operations by resolving control system issues and improving process stability.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement automation solutions.
- Lead or support capital projects involving control system upgrades and expansions.
- Maintain and update control documentation, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and system architecture.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis tools.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve process efficiency and data visibility.
- Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Controls Engineering - Required
- 5+ years of experience in process control engineering within a chemical, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, DCS configuration, and HMI development.
- Experience with instrumentation, control loop tuning, and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with ISA standards, NFPA, and process safety systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with OSIsoft PI, SCADA, or MES systems is a plus.
