OEM Sales Manager
A global leader in electronic components is seeking an OEM Sales Manager to drive growth across the Western U.S. This remote role focuses on expanding business within HVAC/R, Industrial, Pool-and-Spa, and Food-and-Beverage OEM sectors. You'll lead strategic account development, manage rep firms, and collaborate cross-functionally to exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by promoting industrial control and sensor technologies to targeted OEM accounts.
- Engage with customers at the concept and design stages to ensure successful integration of solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs to uncover new applications and enhance brand perception.
- Lead and motivate a network of manufacturer representative firms to meet territory goals.
- Coordinate product qualifications by working with engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reports and track new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, pricing, planning, product management) to align customer needs with product roadmaps.
- Train sales reps on new products and technical applications across diverse markets.
- Support new product development initiatives and territory visit planning.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, providing insights to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
- Proven success in sales management within electronics, industrial, or sensing components industries.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R and industrial markets, with experience working directly with OEMs and rep firms.
- Demonstrated ability to sell to major customers and manage complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both long-term plans and short-term objectives.
- High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with key customer bases in the Western U.S. and ability to build strategic relationships.
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 + 10%-15% bonus
