Sr. QA Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead and elevate our QA operations in the rice and grain sector. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all stages of production and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of QA systems and food safety programs (HACCP, GMP, SQF, etc.).
- Oversee quality control processes for rice and grain products, ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and international standards.
- Manage internal audits, third-party inspections, and certification processes.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and drive product excellence.
- Train and mentor QA staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and customer quality inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of QA experience in rice, grain, or related food/agricultural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, and industry best practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing QA teams and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in HACCP, SQF, PCQI, or similar are highly desirable.
