Strategic Sourcing Manager - Electrical & Industrial
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 sourcing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electrical and industrial components.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align sourcing plans with business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms while focusing on cost, quality, and delivery (TCO).
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks, recommending proactive solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance metrics.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven background in heavy industrial manufacturing; experience with electrical components (e.g., breakers, harnesses, PCBAs) is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
