Territory Manager
The Territory Manager drives revenue growth and builds strong customer relationships through disciplined selling and proactive execution. Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in pallets, is looking for an individual with a hunter mentality who is looking to continue their career in supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new customers, applications, and use cases across the territory while proactively prospecting in under‑penetrated verticals such as grocery, CPG, logistics, and retail.
- Grow and retain existing accounts through consultative selling, clear value articulation, cost‑benefit analysis, and strategic account planning focused on long‑term expansion.
- Drive territory revenue growth by maintaining a healthy pipeline, executing accurate forecasting, and managing deals with disciplined sales execution.
- Build and execute a comprehensive territory strategy that accelerates growth across key vertical markets and expands market share by converting competitive accounts through value‑based selling.
- Deliver consistent revenue, margin, and quota attainment through strong outbound activity, including regular calls, visits, demos, and proposals.
- Serve as the primary business owner for assigned accounts, developing multi‑level relationships and engaging executive leadership when needed to advance opportunities.
- Present compelling solutions aligned to customer needs and operational challenges while protecting pricing integrity and margins.
- Resolve customer issues with urgency and ownership, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience and protecting existing business.
- Maintain complete, accurate CRM records, account notes, and activity documentation to support forecasting and account management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-3 years of B2B field sales experience required; 3+ years preferred.
- Proven success in consultative selling and relationship development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to manage a multi‑state territory with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including air travel.
