A leading manufacturer of industrial packaging solutions is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive regional sales growth and build strong customer relationships. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring exceptional service across your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within your territory.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Identify growth opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform territory strategy.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in manufacturing (industrial & rigid packaging preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 60-70% of the time).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and in office, plant, and warehouse environments.
