Continuous Improvement Lead
About the Role
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence across their production site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on improving processes, reducing waste, and guiding teams toward smarter, more efficient ways of working.
You will play a key role in shaping site-wide improvement initiatives, partnering closely with production, quality, engineering, and senior leadership. The position offers both strategic influence and hands‑on project leadership within a highly regulated and quality‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives across production and support functions
- Identify performance gaps and develop measurable improvement plans
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving methodologies on the shop floor
- Coach and support teams in implementing best practices and new ways of working
- Monitor KPIs and ensure progress toward operational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Support audits and compliance activities related to operational processes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment (pharma, food, chemical, or other regulated industries preferred)
- At least a Six Sigma Yellow Belt (Green Belt is a strong advantage)
- Proven experience implementing Lean / CI tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, root-cause analysis)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Dutch
