Reliability Engineer Manager
Overview
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to identify and eliminate potential losses during the design stage, ensuring stable machine cycle times and increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
- Oversee the integration of new equipment into existing production lines, ensuring deterioration can be easily monitored and corrected. Ensure routine maintenance tasks are simple, measurable, and executable by internal teams, with a focus on reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Develop and refine preventive maintenance programs and condition monitoring routines for new equipment, including identifying required technical training for maintenance teams.
- Define cost and value drivers to support life‑cycle cost reduction initiatives and maximize return on capital investments.
Responsibilities
- Maximize technical availability and asset reliability across all production lines by leading, promoting, and implementing analytical problem‑solving practices to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
- Lead the site's Asset Reliability Program, owning and developing Analytical Problem Solving (APS) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, and ensuring effective closure of corrective actions.
- Manage the Condition Monitoring & Lubrication program as part of the long‑term strategy to reduce planned maintenance time and increase technical availability.
- Conduct skills gap analysis for condition monitoring and lubrication competencies to support technical training plans.
- Engage with operational sites and field maintenance teams to review current capabilities and develop tactical improvement plans.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Maintenance Support teams, Manufacturing Technicians (including Asset Care), Operations Managers, and Finance to support site objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills in both Thai and English (written and verbal).
- Experience in the Food or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes in food manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Experience managing engineering or technical projects.
