Lead Expert of Toxicology
Role
We are seeking an Expert Consultant in toxicology or related scientific fields to provide high-level regulatory and scientific advice, particularly for clients in Japan and the APAC region. This role combines consultancy, scientific expertise, and commercial support to drive business growth and regulatory excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert regulatory and scientific guidance, especially on JMAFF requirements.
- Advise clients on complex registration processes and study designs.
- Prepare and review study summaries, dossiers, and regulatory documents.
- Mentor junior staff and support internal training initiatives.
- Participate in industry groups and represent the company in regulatory discussions.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
- Ensure high-quality, timely project delivery and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in toxicology, environmental fate, metabolism, or residues within regulatory testing or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese regulatory frameworks (e.g., JMAFF).
- Proven ability to mentor, train, and collaborate across teams.
- Experience in dossier preparation, data gap analysis, and regulatory submissions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and authorities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to global team objectives.
