Process Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to support and optimize unit operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in chemical engineering, process control, and data-driven decision-making. The Process Engineer will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting technical operations, and contributing to cross-functional initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Provide technical support to unit operations across all phases.
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities.
- Initiate and execute process design projects.
- Support compliance with environmental permits and pollution control systems.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Assist with Management of Change (MOC) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
- Deliver technical training and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process improvements with business goals.
- Track and monitor performance against cost and reliability objectives.
- Make sound technical decisions that support operational and financial goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong PC and research skills (technical journals, code books, federal registers).
- Familiarity with process control techniques and instrumentation systems.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R programming.
- Exposure to machine learning, data visualization, and big data processing.
- Understanding of financial impacts of process decisions.
