Production Assembler-2nd Shift
Job Description
There is a position available for 2nd Shift Production Assemble in Moorpark, CA. This is a full-time position.
Work Schedule:
9/80 Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (eight-hour shift every other Friday)
General Summary:
This position will report to the Shop Floor Supervisor and will be responsible for various work assignments throughout the production area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs manual/mechanized assembly operations.
- Responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements.
- Process specifications using hand tools, machinery, air presses, jigs and other equipment and tooling.
- Must be able to follow work instructions.
- Performs other operations such as loading and unloading components into tooling and powders into cups to press.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must demonstrate ability to setup and monitor equipment through written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- General knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading and inspection tools
- Ability to perform fine mechanical assembly including resistance welding, light machining and electrical testing
- Defense and Aerospace Industry experience including working knowledge of company product lines a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
