Quality Engineer
Position Overview
This role is responsible for leading all quality‑control activities and implementing systems and processes that ensure products meet internal standards as well as regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop and uphold effective quality‑management systems, including policies, procedures, and standards that align with customer expectations and regulatory guidelines.
- Apply quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify, monitor, and prevent defects throughout the production cycle.
- Oversee all quality‑control operations, including inspections of raw materials, in‑process manufacturing, and finished goods, ensuring early detection of quality issues.
- Partner with production teams to define quality specifications, conduct acceptance testing, and maintain the integrity of production processes.
- Manage the non‑conformance process by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to resolve recurring quality challenges and drive continuous improvement in both products and processes.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their quality expectations and ensure satisfaction through consistent delivery of high‑quality products.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections, preparing documentation and ensuring full compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, providing coaching, training, and feedback to strengthen performance and capabilities.
- Foster a culture of quality across the organization, encouraging accountability and a commitment to excellence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Hold a relevant degree.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Possess strong knowledge of quality‑management systems, ISO standards, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in English (90%).
- Excel in advanced Excel skills.
- Have experience using SAP.
- Hold a quality certification such as Six Sigma or ASQ.
- Are familiar with manufacturing processes.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
- Possess deep knowledge of quality‑control tools and techniques, including Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, and others.
- Have experience managing personnel.
- Can analyze data and identify trends effectively.
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability and the capacity to solve complex quality‑related issues.
- Excel in communication and leadership, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
