Quality Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control functions. This role is responsible for developing and executing quality systems, managing compliance with aerospace standards, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality team, including engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality and process integrity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on quality metrics to senior leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D, Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM), CQE, or Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Experience with aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and supplier quality.
- Familiarity with ERP and QMS software platforms
