Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System & Compliance
- Own QMS including SOPs, document control, audit schedule, and management review
- Serve as site lead for ISO 9001 compliance
- Lead internal audits and corrective/preventive actions
Customer Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track KPIs (Perfect Order Rate, accuracy, damage rate, returns, complaints)
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer issues
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Inbound & Outbound Quality
- Set receiving inspection standards and manage OS&D issues with suppliers
- Implement pick audits, AQL sampling, and final shipment checks
- Establish packaging standards to reduce transit damage
Inventory & Data Integrity
- Oversee cycle count accuracy and investigate inventory variances
- Ensure WMS data accuracy and adherence to scanning processes
Returns & Non-Conformance
- Lead Material Review Board (MRB)
- Define processes for holds, traceability, and disposition
Training & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Develop standard work, audit routines, and training programs
- Partner with Operations, Transportation, IT, Customer Service, and Procurement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or business
- 5+ years of quality or operations experience in a distribution environment
- Lean Six Sigma experience and strong data analysis skills
- Knowledge of WMS and inventory control systems
Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ, or supply chain certifications
- Experience with Minitab
