FF - Project Coordinator
Overview
Responsible for supporting the execution and management of construction projects across multiple industrial facilities, including equipment installation, contractor oversight, and project cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing construction activities across multiple plant sites
- Support procurement and selection of plant equipment and required materials
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards
- Oversee internal labor for equipment installation and construction work
- Participate in equipment startup, commissioning, and operational handoff
- Maintain and manage tools and equipment utilized on-site
- Communicate with plant leadership on equipment functionality and performance
- Track project costs and support construction budget management
- Ensure safe operation of tools, machinery, and jobsite activities
- Provide hands-on oversight of fabrication work (cutting, welding, installation, layout)
- Support additional project and site responsibilities as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; relevant degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or project management
Preferred Background
- Experience as a millwright or within heavy industrial environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional and organized approach to project execution
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Frequent bending, lifting, pulling, and physical activity
- Willingness to travel extensively (air and ground)
- Ability to work nights/weekends for shutdowns or equipment changeouts
- Comfortable working at heights (up to ~50 ft)
