Regional Logistics Manager, DG

Role

The Logistics Manager oversees daily depot operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures. This role includes managing staff, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting business development and client engagement activities.


Responsibilities

  • Operations Management

    • Supervise daily depot activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GXP, ICH, FDA).
    • Maintain quality assurance, security, and record-keeping standards.
    • Monitor performance metrics and ensure business continuity.
  • Team Leadership

    • Manage hiring, performance evaluation, and development of depot staff.
    • Lead team meetings and training sessions.
    • Address staff-related issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Client & Project Support

    • Support new client integration and project implementation.
    • Engage in client meetings and business reviews.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Compliance & Quality

    • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and participate in audits.
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of depot infrastructure and procedures.
  • Reporting & Communication

    • Provide timely reports and updates to management.
    • Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Be available for emergency support as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience, ideally in clinical trials or logistics.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
