Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary

A growing leader in the design and construction of commercial outdoor steel and fabric shade structures is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the Florida market, including Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Panhandle. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience in specialty contracting and design/build projects, particularly within the evolving field of tensile architecture.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by building strong relationships, delivering compelling presentations, and closing deals across a diverse portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop new business within the assigned territory through cold calling, trade show participation, direct marketing, and in-person meetings.
  • Target clients such as municipalities, schools, military installations, developers, architects, churches, universities, HOAs, airports, and general contractors.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project management and engineering teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track performance, manage contacts, and analyze sales metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations.
  • Handle administrative tasks including drawing requests, reporting, and documentation.
  • Support other business initiatives as needed.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, more junior may be accepted if experience lines up.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel frequently throughout Florida
  • Valid Class C driver's license
  • Familiarity with construction sales and landscape architecture
  • Experience in commercial shade, aquatics, parks and recreation, or pool construction (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
