A global logistics organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to oversee and develop key regional accounts within the Air & Ocean freight division. This senior-level position is ideal for an expert who brings long-standing industry experience, deep market understanding, and the ability to operate confidently at a European level.
The role offers broad responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to shape strategic customer relationships across Europe.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of regional strategic accounts within the Air & Ocean sector
- Act as the primary executive contact for high-value customers, driving long-term partnership success
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Collaborate closely with regional and international teams to ensure consistent service quality
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support strategic initiatives
- Represent the company in customer meetings, negotiations, reviews, and relevant industry forums
- Provide insights on market trends and contribute to regional commercial strategy
- Report directly to the senior management line and work collaboratively on key business priorities
Experience & Expertise
- At least 5+ years of experience in Air & Ocean freight
- Strong background in Strategic Account Management
- Expertise at regional or European level within freight forwarding
- Established network of industry contacts within logistics and forwarding
