Sales Manager, US West
A leading provider of luxury architectural garden structures is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its sales operations across the Western U.S. This role involves driving business growth through strategic leadership, customer engagement, and team development. You will manage a team of experienced Sales Executives, oversee the full sales cycle, and collaborate with internal departments to meet revenue and delivery targets. The position requires a strong understanding of customer building projects, renovation, and remodeling, as well as the ability to lead both in-person and remotely. Travel is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets, improve conversion rates, and meet customer sales budgets.
- Identify and implement strategic growth opportunities while promoting the sharing of best practices across the team.
- Review and refine sales processes, participate in weekly sales meetings, and define/manage KPIs (e.g., calls, site visits, sales performance).
- Expand the customer base through new business development and strategic partnerships (e.g., garden centers, public structures).
- Monitor competitor activity and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, highlighting performance metrics and opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and enhance the customer journey throughout the entire sales cycle.
Requirements
- Proven success in a sales management and leadership role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Experience working with luxury brands in a B2C environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of identifying growth opportunities and executing effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in sales-related IT systems (e.g., Microsoft NAV or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 + bonus + commission
