Sourcing and Category Lead - BPO
An investment bank is looking to bring on a Sourcing & Category Lead for BPO/Debt Services based in New Jersey.
Role: Sourcing & Category Lead for BPO/Debt Services (VP Level)
Work-Model: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
Compensation: $150,000 to $205,000 base plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute global category strategy for BPO & Debt Services
- Lead sourcing events (RFPs/RFXs), negotiations, and contract structuring
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and align sourcing with business priorities
- Manage supplier performance, risk (financial, regulatory, operational), and compliance controls
- Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities (incl. buying channels)
- Track market trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Core Requirements
- Proven category strategy execution delivering measurable value
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience
- Risk identification and mitigation across complex supply chains
- Data-driven decision-making and senior stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISM, CIPS, IACCM) preferred

- Financial services experience
- BPO and/or debt services category expertise
- Exposure to AI-driven or automated sourcing solutions
