UK Sales Executive

Sector: Logistics / Supply Chain

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

About the Company

We are a fast‑growing European logistics business with strong momentum across multiple markets. As part of our continued expansion, we are now making our first commercial hire in the UK.

As the first UK hire, this person isn't inheriting a legacy territory, old accounts, or broken processes. You have the opportunity to:

  • Define how the company is seen in the UK market
  • Shape customer relationships from day one
  • Influence how sales is done locally (approach, messaging, priorities)

There is no UK office today - this role is fully remote and highly autonomous - but the UK is a strategic growth market for the business, with senior leadership closely involved in building it out.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a growing international logistics company as the first UK-based sales professional.

You will:

  • Own and develop the UK market
  • Build relationships with customers across the country
  • Work directly with senior sales leadership and the COO
  • Play a key role in shaping how the business grows in the UK

This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, independence, and being trusted to get on with the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across the UK logistics market
  • Build and manage a portfolio of customers
  • Travel regularly to client sites across the UK
  • Represent the business as the primary UK commercial contact
  • Collaborate with European sales colleagues and leadership

About You

We are intentionally keeping requirements lean. What matters most is drive, energy, and credibility in logistics sales.

You will likely have:

  • Sales experience within logistics, freight forwarding, transport or supply chain services
  • A track record of winning and developing customers
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • A stable career history (this is a long‑term hire)

Other important points:

  • Fluent English is essential
  • You do not need to be London‑based (and we actively encourage applications from outside London)
  • We are looking for someone with pace, hunger, and energy
