Summary:
A global leader in biotechnology is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across its animal feed and agriculture portfolio for additives & amino acids. This role focuses on expanding market share, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve assigned targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle, including quotations, negotiations, and contract finalization
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to provide actionable insights
- Maintain strong relationships and deliver after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction
- Oversee payment collection and manage accounts receivable
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the feed or agriculture industry
- Strong experience with amino acids or other additives
- Strong understanding of international trade and supply chain processes
- Established network of feed industry contacts, ideally in the Midwest/North Central U.S.
- Excellent negotiation, planning, and execution skills
- Ability to work from Chicago or other Midwestern locations (e.g., Iowa, Minnesota)
- Preferred: Background in logistics or technical expertise in animal nutrition
