Are you a driven sales professional with a strong background in freight forwarding? Do you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can make a real impact? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing team in Rotterdam and help accelerate expansion across international trade lanes.

This is a strategic inside sales role with a focus on airfreight, transatlantic trade, and Asia import/export. You'll be working alongside experienced leadership in a family-run business that values trust, independence, and results.

🔍 What You'll Do

Develop and grow a diverse client portfolio across air and ocean freight.
Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue quickly.
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
Work independently and collaboratively with senior sales leadership.
Travel nationally and internationally to meet clients and attend industry events.

✅ What We're Looking For

Minimum 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales.
Strong network or portfolio in logistics.
Proven success in airfreight and ocean freight, ideally with transatlantic and Asia trade lane experience.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
Native Dutch speaker with excellent communication skills.
Self-sufficient, low-maintenance, and results-oriented.
Able to represent a trusted family business with professionalism.
