My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their growing retail team. This remote role is ideal for a strategic thinker based in Georgia who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail sector, including partnerships, B2B sales, and strategic alliances.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand our presence in key retail markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and operations to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, sales presentations, and performance reports to stakeholders.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
