Compensation:
$170,000 - $230,000 base salary, plus benefits
Summary:
A leading federal contractor is seeking a Director of Procurement and Subcontracts to oversee acquisition strategy, subcontracting, and small business compliance. This role ensures alignment with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and supports CPSR readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement and subcontracting operations in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.
- Manage all phases of subcontracts and purchase orders; ensure CPSR compliance.
- Oversee small business program execution and reporting.
- Support government audits including DCMA CPSR and Small Business Reviews.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and drive cost savings.
- Use Costpoint, Deltek, and related systems for procurement execution and reporting.
- Mentor and manage a team of acquisition professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10+ years in federal acquisition; 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience with CPSR audits, Costpoint, and Deltek.
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and small business compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in nonprofit or research environments preferred.
