The Electrical Engineer II will be responsible for...
- Develop, edit, and maintain complex electrical design systems and documentation.
- Lead design efforts on subsystems, including component selection and layout.
- Coordinate panel build and wiring activities for both pro type and production units.
- Interface cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive design feasibility and efficiency.
- Create and maintain structured configurable Super BOMs to ensure accurate part selection and system configuration.
- Support controls and electrical troubleshooting during prototyping and testing.
- Apply working knowledge of AC drives, power distribution, switch gear, sensors, and transducers to design activities.
- Stay abreast of new developments in electrical design and apply that knowledge towards the technical enhancement of machinery and processes.
The Electrical Engineer II should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools. AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a product development environment.
- Knowledge and application of applicable electrical codes; NEC, UL (UL1995, UL60335, UL508A), IEC and CE.
- Well versed in MS Office Excel, Word, Power-Point, etc.
