HR Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager / Talent Partner to lead human resources initiatives at our Tampa-based manufacturing facility. This role is instrumental in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations to support our mission of operational excellence and workforce development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in recruiting for manufacturing environments and managing HR functions in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operational roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with staffing agencies, community groups, and educational institutions to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs and implement strategic recruitment plans.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Design and execute engaging onboarding programs that foster early employee success and retention.
  • Oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation, ensuring a respectful and compliant transition.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Administer daily HR functions including employee records, attendance, benefits, and leave programs (FMLA, STD, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted resource for employee concerns, promoting a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
  • Support performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development initiatives.

Workforce Planning & Reporting

  • Assist in workforce planning to align staffing with production and business goals.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics to inform leadership decisions.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate and deliver training on company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices.
  • Identify skill gaps and support continuous learning and development for manufacturing staff.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and onboarding for manufacturing roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership capabilities and experience in change management.
  • Spanish fluency required.
