Maintenance Manager
Position Purpose
Provide enterprise-wide leadership for maintenance operations across multiple manufacturing sites. This role sets long-term maintenance strategy, capital planning, and organizational development to drive reliability, safety, and cost performance across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise maintenance strategy, ensuring operational excellence and consistent standards across all sites.
- Lead the development and deployment of a customer-centric maintenance management model, including standardized PM/TPM, reliability practices, KPIs, and technology alignment (electrical, CNC, robotics).
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal customers, vendors, and contractors to support enterprise maintenance needs.
- Drive maintenance talent strategy, including leadership development, workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and career pathways.
- Establish enterprise MRO, maintenance planning, and parts inventory strategies in partnership with central stores.
- Champion behavior-based safety and ensure strong safety culture, compliance, and training throughout the maintenance organization.
- Own maintenance financial performance, budgets, and cost-reduction initiatives across labor, materials, capital, vendors, and technology.
- Lead and support internal equipment build strategies to improve manufacturing capability and performance.
Leadership Scope
- Direct and indirect leadership of maintenance managers and supervisors across multiple locations.
- Influence cross-functional teams through enterprise initiatives and projects.
- Drive performance and consistency across geographically dispersed teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or management; master's preferred.
- 12+ years of experience, including senior leadership and multi-site responsibility.
- Strong matrix leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
- Proven experience in enterprise strategy development and execution.
- Excellent communication skills with strong business and financial acumen.
