Manufacturing Data Engineer
DSJ Global is currently seeking a technically curious and results-driven professional to lead the implementation of digital and automation strategies across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is pivotal in driving transformative cost reductions while enhancing quality and process capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the deployment of digital and automation initiatives across manufacturing plants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Design and implement systems to collect, process, and unify data from diverse sources.
- Ensure data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and supports large-scale processing
- Partner with subject matter experts to analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply statistical methods and optimization techniques to enhance process capability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement control schemes based on process dynamics.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to meet data and process requirements.
- Document technical findings and contribute to intellectual property through invention disclosures and patent applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or C#.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset to drive change and innovation.
