Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support manufacturing operations at its Conyers, GA facility. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day production execution, safety, quality compliance, labor management, and KPI performance in a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
The Operations Manager leads through supervisors and frontline leaders, driving results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development while promoting a strong continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety, and cost objectives
- Manage teams of 50-100+ hourly employees through supervisors across multiple shifts
- Drive KPI performance: productivity, labor efficiency, yield, OTIF, schedule attainment
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, FDA, OSHA, and internal standards
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize performance
- Lead Lean / CI initiatives (5S, waste reduction, downtime improvement, standard work)
- Support audits, corrective actions, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts
Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years manufacturing experience with progressive leadership responsibility
- 3-5+ years managing supervisors and large hourly teams
- Experience in high‑volume, regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong KPI, labor, and operational execution background
- Proven ability to lead change and build accountable teams
Preferred Experience
- Food or beverage manufacturing
- Multi‑shift operations
- ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar)
- Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma training
