One of the nation's leading Cosmetics Production organizations is seeking a Plant Manager to join their rapidly-growing team!
Summary:
The Plant Manager will play a pivotal part in the company's Manufacturing Team, by overseeing all plant production operation activities. The Plant Manager will be expected to cross-collaborate with managers of other functions, oversee all plant employees and track progress to meet goals.
The successful Plant Manager will achieve daily production, quality, cost and delivery requirements in support of the business's operating plan. This Plant Manager must work with the cross functional members of the organization to implement continuous improvement tools, operational metrics, standardization of work flows, demand planning of materials/labor, schedule adherence, resource allocations, shift sizing, capacity planning and performance reporting, that at the end of the day enhances the overall customer experience and supports our profitable growth.
The Plant Manager will:
- Oversee all plant operations to ensure quality, safety and productivity standards are being met
- Set daily goals and agendas
- Hire, train, mentor and discipline plant employees
- Create and execute strategic initiatives to maximize plant efficiency
- Collaborate with relevant parties to develop and implement operation budgets
The Plant Manager should have the following skill set:
- BA or BS required; MBA or Masters degree preferred
- 15+ years production experience
- 10+ years Plant Management Experience
- Functional knowledge of Lean Concepts
- Spanish speaking a plus
