Description:

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate optimal value and ensure the quality of purchased goods and services.
  • Track and evaluate supplier performance, financial stability, and contractual compliance; maintain regular communication to drive continuous improvement.
  • Request necessary documentation and submittals from vendors as required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to Project Managers and Estimators.
  • Assist in supplier selection and ongoing management processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and fulfill project-specific procurement needs in alignment with schedules.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Partner with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure quality standards are met and address any non-conformance promptly.
  • Participate in and coordinate project planning meetings.
  • Conduct site inspections; review and coordinate design evaluations across disciplines for code compliance and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; contribute to the development of procurement policies and best practices, and resolve policy-related issues effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
