Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations within our automotive manufacturing facility in Atlanta. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring quality standards, optimizing workflow, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output goals.
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory targets.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve production issues.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing production management.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and production management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility.
- Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- May involve exposure to noise, heat, and industrial equipment.
