Regional Vice President - Utilities

A leading electrical equipment manufacturer is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive regional sales strategy across the West Coast. This role owns and manages revenue growth and executive‑level customer engagement across major utility and strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long‑term regional sales strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through market expansion, pipeline development, forecasting, and execution against sales targets.
  • Lead strategic account planning and executive‑level engagement with major utility and key customers.
  • Utilize market sizing, data analytics, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and guide sales and account strategies.
  • Oversee key account management activities, including contract negotiations and alignment across sales, account management, and leadership teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a strong competitive position.
  • Manage regional sales budgets, forecasting, and performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, operations, and leadership to align customer needs with solutions and capacity planning.
  • Oversee sales processes, approvals, and tools to ensure efficiency and effective execution.
  • Represent the organization in executive meetings, customer presentations, and key industry events.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a highperforming sales and account management team.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the electric power equipment specifically for medium voltage products
  • 10+ years in the utility markets for electrical equipment
  • Proven success leading strategic or key accounts in a complex sales environment.
  • Experience developing sales strategies, managing forecasts and budgets, and leading sales teams.
  • Ability to engage and influence executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Willingness to travel as needed across the region.
