VP of Operations
Role Overview
You will oversee regional teams across China and international markets, ensuring strong financial governance and data integrity throughout the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with demonstrated experience navigating growth environments and contributing to successful IPO readiness or execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global FP&A function, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long‑range planning, and performance analytic across all markets.
- Partner closely with the shareholders, and executive leadership team to drive financial strategy and operational decision‑making.
- Oversee financial frameworks and reporting standards to support IPO projects, investor‑facing narratives, and regulatory readiness.
- Build and mentor regional FP&A teams in China and overseas markets; establish consistent global processes and best practices.
- Provide actionable insights on revenue drivers, cost structures, unit economics, pricing, and gross margin optimisation.
- Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, market expansion, M&A due diligence, and commercial partnerships.
- Implement and enhance financial systems, data dashboards, and analytic tools to elevate visibility and accuracy.
- Drive scenario modelling, risk assessments, and financial simulations to guide company-wide planning.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive FP&A leadership experience, including at least 5 years at a senior/executive level.
- Prior experience supporting or leading financial work-streams for a company through an IPO or large-scale capital markets event.
- Background in IoT, consumer electronics, or related high‑growth sectors strongly preferred.
- Proven success overseeing FP&A functions across Hong Kong, China, SEA markets as well as partnering with overseas teams in US and EU.
- Strong command of financial modelling, analytics, and planning systems
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence board-level decisions.
- Fluency of Mandarin Chinese and English is a must, Cantonese is desired.
