Warehouse Manager
Summary/Objective
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, and procurement activities. This role ensures the efficient and effective management of resources, personnel, and processes to maintain seamless operations and support organizational goals. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in planning, managing supplier relations, and team development while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
Essential Functions
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement efficient inventory management systems and technologies.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of inventory records.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring safety, organization, and cleanliness.
- Develop and enforce security protocols to protect warehouse assets.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Govern and oversee plant inventory control processes, procedures and systems including but not limited to: Requisition and order material, supplies, and equipment following TCCB's guidelines, rules, and policies. Initiate and process emergency purchases as required by plant management.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure contracts and agreements are being managed according to established terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare and review purchase orders.
- Track the status of requisitions and purchase orders.
- Timely supply and equipment purchasing to avoid project and process delays from project inception through project completion.
- Anticipate future plant needs through perpetual inventory review.
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels for staple materials, new and spare parts and tools.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff.
- Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and identify training needs.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
- Warehouse Planning and Reporting:
- Follow up on action items to improve warehouse and procurement performance.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and operational performance to senior management.
- Utilize data analytics to forecast demand and plan future inventory requirements.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and corporate policies.
- Implement best practices in warehouse management and procurement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Onsite (plant)

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of higher education degree.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, procurement, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
