Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Master Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule development.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect changes and delays.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present schedule reports to management and clients, highlighting key milestones and critical path activities.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with the project team to optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide training and support to project team members on scheduling best practices and software tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- EVM (Earned Vale Management)
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional).
- Experience with large-scale construction projects.
