Plant Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Plant Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our client's life sciences manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain activities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO, GMP)
Drive operational efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness across departments
Lead and develop cross-functional teams to meet production targets and quality goals
Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning and capital projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in plant operations management within the life sciences sector
Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
Proven leadership and change management skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
