Product Manager - Fashion
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Buying and Merchandising Manager to lead our fashion retail operations across regional markets. This role is pivotal in driving commercial success through effective product selection, inventory planning, and market-specific merchandising strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our product offerings resonate with local consumer preferences while aligning with global brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional buying strategies that align with brand vision and commercial targets.
- Lead seasonal assortment planning, ensuring optimal product mix tailored to market trends and consumer demand.
- Analyze sales performance, market data, and customer insights to inform buying decisions and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with design, planning, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product launches and campaigns.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock turnover and minimize markdowns.
- Lead and mentor a team of buyers and merchandisers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Stay ahead of fashion trends, competitor activity, and regional market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in buying and merchandising within fashion retail, with regional exposure.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in merchandising systems and data analysis tools.
- Fluent in English and Chinese
