One of our manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a strong production leader to guide its assembly department. This person will be a critical member of the site leadership and play a crucial role in the productivity of the facility.
Qualifications for the Production Supervisor include:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership background, at least 1 year as a supervisor preferred
- Skilled at managing workload, setting priorities, and delivering deadlines professionally
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and computer applications
- Working knowledge of LEAN, TPM, 5s, and similar principles
Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor Include:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards by training staff, monitoring adherence, and resolving safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain an efficient, organized, and fully staffed department through 5S practices, workforce planning, and cross training.
- Lead daily production operations by scheduling work, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and addressing issues that impact productivity, quality, or workflow.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement by enforcing organizational standards, reducing waste through Lean practices, and supporting equipment care, maintenance, and process enhancements.
- Develop and support employees through clear communication of expectations, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when necessary.
