Regional EHS Manager
Regional EHS Manager required for leading beverage bottle manufacturer and distributor:
- Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager
- Onsite in Pennsauken, NJ or Queens, NYC
- Up to 50% travel to regional sites
- $110,000-$130,000 salary
The Regional EHS Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Support EHS programs across multiple manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities throughout the region
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, DEP, and other applicable regulations
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
- Manage workers' compensation cases, including injury reporting, investigation, and return-to-work coordination
- Support DOT compliance programs and transportation-related safety initiatives
- Deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and new hires
- Conduct facility audits, inspections, and safety observations
- Lead safety meetings and partner with operations teams to improve safety culture and performance
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, standards, and SOPs
- Monitor and maintain safety KPIs, records, and compliance documentation
- Manage emergency response, evacuation procedures, and facility security programs
- Serve as the primary EHS contact during regulatory inspections, audits, and environmental events
- Oversee PPE programs, hazard assessments, and occupational health initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce injuries and strengthen safety performance across the region
The ideal Regional EHS Manager candidate will have the following skillset:
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, warehousing, or industrial environments
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred
- Experience supporting multiple facilities or regional operations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and incident investigation processes
- Familiarity with DOT compliance and transportation safety programs
- Experience managing workers' compensation, injury management, and return-to-work programs
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs
- Ability to build relationships with operations leaders, supervisors, and frontline employees
- Experience working with union workforces preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR and RCRA Hazardous Waste certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%
