Retail Merchandising Manager - Sportswear

Role Overview

You will lead the strategic development and execution of product categories tailored to SEA markets. You'll be responsible for driving assortment planning, pricing, and performance, while collaborating closely with design and product development teams to ensure market relevance and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies based on market trends, consumer insights, and brand direction.
  • Lead Concept-to-Offering seasonal assortment planning, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling and commercial goals.
  • Partner with Design and Product Development teams to shape collections that meet regional consumer needs.
  • Analyze sales performance, KPIs, and market data to identify growth opportunities and optimize assortment.
  • Manage OTB planning, forecasting, and inventory control for assigned categories.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and consumer research to inform product decisions.
  • Support omni-channel initiatives across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale platforms.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product strategy within retail or sportswear.
  • Proven experience in seasonal assortment planning and working with design and product development teams.
  • Strong understanding of SEA consumer behavior and market dynamics.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, merchandising tools, and planning systems.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese speaking
