About the Role:
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for key ingredient categories. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality ingredients that meet our product and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead category management for core ingredient groups (e.g., dairy, grains, spices, proteins).
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and sustainability targets.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and managing performance.
- Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Drive cost savings, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of procurement experience in the food or FMCG industry, with a strong focus on ingredients.
- Proven expertise in category management and strategic sourcing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
